INGREDIENTS
2 and ½ to 3 cups of Maisha Home Baking Flour
2 teaspoons of dry active yeast
1 teaspoon of sugar
½ cup of warm water
½ teaspoon of salt
¼ cup of olive oil
⅓ cup of plain natural yoghurt
1 large egg

PREPARATION
In a large mixing bowl, add the yeast, sugar and warm water
Stir to dissolve the mixture and let it sit until it is frothy
Once the mixture is frothy, add the olive oil, plain natural yoghurt and egg until they are evenly combined
In a separate bowl, add 1 cup of Maisha Home Baking Flour with salt
Pour the mixture of wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until well combined.
Loosely cover the dough and let it rise until double in size
Preheat the pan
Gently flatten the dough into a disc and cut it into equal pieces
Shape each piece into a small ball and roll them into circles
Place the rolled out dough onto the hot pan/skillet and cook until the bottom is golden brown, with large bubbles forming on the surface on both sides.
Serve plain or with melted butter and sprinkle some herbs
