2 ¼ cups maisha stone ground atta flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ Teaspoon baking soda
¼ Teaspoon salt
½ Cup Caster sugar
½ Cup Brown sugar
150 grams melted butter
3 whole eggs
½ Tablespoon lemon zest
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
¼ cup of Yoghurt
1 cup blueberries
Mix 2 ¼ cups Maisha stoneground atta flour with 2 tablespoon baking powder , ½ teaspoon baking soda and ¼ teaspoon of salt in a bowl then sieve.
Whisk the flour mixture
In a separate bowl mix ½ brown caster sugar,½ brown sugar and 150 grams melted butter the mix well.
Add 3 whole eggs,½ tablespoon of lemon zest,1 teaspoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract to the ingredients then mix well.
Add the flour mixture in and fold gently.
Add 1 cup of buttermilk and ¼ cup of yoghurt then mix.
Add 1 cup of blueberries and mix again.
Bake at 180° for 20 minutes.
Serve with your favourite drink.
